Job Description:
Our Client, a highly reputable and regarded Housing Developer/Builder, are seeking an Architectural Assistant in the early stages of their career to join its established and settled team of professionals in their Technical Design Department.
The sought after Candidate will be working either in Private Practice, providing Architectural services to Housing Developers, or for one of the Developers themselves.
Person Specification:
The experience and technical skills are as you would expect for this role including:
~ Production of detailed Architectural Construction packages of work using AutoCAD
~ Working with the team on preparation, submission and management of planning applications
~ Some experience of onsite liaison with all involved parties such as Engineers, Contractors and Local Authorities
~ Experience in preparing site layouts an added bonus and advantage but not a must
~ This is a role for a P1 or P2 Architectural Assistant 1-2 years’ experience who will be fully supported by the team as they develop their career
