Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
We’re a diverse group of adults aged 18 to our forties. Most of us are mobile, while some need a little physical support. We experience a range of needs including autism, learning disabilities, PDA, and behaviours that can be challenging. We’re supported by a skilled, familiar staff team who understand us well and provide consistent, personalised support. We enjoy getting out—shopping, cycling, walking, swimming, and spending time outdoors. We also love music, cozy coffee shops, and the occasional wine bar treat. As a group, we’re kind, fun, and respectful. We feel most at ease with calm, gentle people, as loud behaviour can sometimes be a little overwhelming for some of us.
Our house is a bright and welcoming two‑story home with a lovely private garden at the back — perfect for relaxing, barbecues, and spending time together in the sunny months. Inside, we enjoy a cozy communal area where we can play games, do arts and crafts, or simply unwind and chat.
The house sits on a quiet private street with kind, friendly neighbours, creating a calm, homely atmosphere. There’s also convenient on‑street parking, making it easy for family and friends to visit.
Shifts run 8am–8pm, 10am–10pm, and 8pm–8am (nights).
