**Project Director Opportunity**
We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead a team of project managers and oversee the delivery of multiple projects. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in managing complex projects, leading high-performing teams and driving business growth.
The role involves:
* Leading a team of project managers and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within budget and timeline;
* Developing and implementing project plans, including resource allocation and risk management;
* Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks;
* Maintaining excellent relationships with clients and internal stakeholders;
* Providing guidance and support to project managers to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver their projects successfully.
**Key Requirements:**
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;
* Proven experience in project management, preferably in the electrical power distribution industry;
* Excellent leadership and communication skills;
* Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities;
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills;
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.

**Location:** Our office is located in Perth and surrounding areas.
**Travel:** Occasional travel may be required to client sites and other locations throughout Scotland.

**We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:**
* Operational knowledge of electrical power distribution systems;
* Site safety passport and/or experience of working on CDM sites;
* SSSTS OR SMSTS is desirable, not essential;
* Posession of SSE DNO authorisation to receive and cancel PTW (or alternative equivalent DNO authorisation i.e. SPEN, NPg, UKPN).
