Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage stakeholder relationships to provide excellent commercial support, focusing on procurement category management of Travel, Uniform & Temporary Power (F1 Race-related) within the organization.
* Identify and execute sourcing opportunities through category analysis, including spend and supply base analysis, supplier and marketplace research, and regular engagement with Group Managers and Finance to prioritize opportunities for short, medium, and long-term benefits.
* Develop strong relationships and collaborative working styles with key stakeholders.
* Create and socialize a category plan based on insights and analysis, and develop a yearly project plan for key priorities, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
* Collaborate with business leaders to secure the best deals through responsible commercial and contractual negotiations with external suppliers.
* Manage the entire procurement cycle, including RFx preparation, tender execution, contract award, and ongoing contract management.
* Oversee supplier performance, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
* Negotiate with suppliers to ensure value for money, with robust terms that appropriately manage risk and align with business needs.
* Support and coach direct reports through regular feedback, objective setting, and performance assessments.
* Assist in drafting clear and meaningful specifications for final products.
* Contribute to the Procurement Supply Risk Register and implement risk mitigation strategies in sourcing decisions.
* Maintain accurate records of all contracts and project-related documentation.
* Verify Purchase Order Requisitions within your category to ensure compliance.
Specification Essentials:
* At least 5 years of senior procurement experience.
* Minimum 3 years of strategic sourcing experience in Worldwide Travel, Travel Management, and Hotel programs within a Category Management environment.
* MCIPS qualification required.
* Proven experience in drafting and negotiating contracts.
* Experience in establishing and managing Framework Agreements and Statements of Work.
* Knowledge of P2P systems, including Microsoft D365.
* Experience in coaching and direct line management.
* Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills.
* Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience in a broadcast or media environment is preferable.
