Drive the Sponsorship strategy for integrating AWS partners and others into AWS events and other AWS marketing platforms across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) in ways that provide strong ROI for sponsors and enhance customer experience.
Key job responsibilities
•Own the EMEA Sponsorship strategy for integrating AWS partners into AWS events.
•Work with various groups within Marketing and Sales to inventory sponsorship opportunities and coordinate a strategy and portfolio of opportunities for sponsors.
•Develop sponsorship project plans and work with regional marketing leadership to design a sponsorship program that serves business outcomes.
•Manage 3rd party event agency, helping with sponsor deliverables and communication.
•Set and communicate sponsorship strategy to the EMEA marketing teams to ensure adherence to best practices and consistent partner experience
•Build the sponsorship strategy and executional plan for individual events and programs including prospectus development, revenue model, and sales plan.
•Build and execute demand generation, communication and sales plans, own revenue target.
•Build and maintain sponsorship program tools and processes to enable streamlined billing, contracting, communications, etc.
•Design revenue model and own all financial reporting for program.
•Dive deep to understand the AWS partner ecosystem to develop relevant sponsorship opportunities to the AWS partner ecosystem in ways that are meaningful for customers and sponsors.
•Provide exceptional customer service to our sponsors.

Part of AWS Marketing – the Global Sponsorship team creates strategic, ROI generating sponsorship opportunities for AWS Partners and customers. Our program is designed to support companies in growing their business with AWS and our customers. Sponsorship opportunities are offered globally across a variety of marketing programs. The Global Sponsorship program is designed to engage customers with quality sponsor developed content, education, and networking; deliver sponsors partner shared leads and ROI; optimize revenue cost recovery for AWS Marketing; and execute a sponsorship program that is aligned to the AWS Partner Organization business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience in marketing or marketing research
- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
