About the Opportunity
Jacobs has secured multiple multi-year Contracts and Projects with leading Clients in the UK, Ireland and across the Globe. Water is looking for skilled people to deliver on these fantastic opportunities in the Water Industry and beyond. We are seeking Civil Engineers who are looking to grow their careers in exciting new ways.
Successful candidates will join a team of nearly 600 Water Professionals, working on a range of high-profile projects and become a part of a World Leading Company with excellent career prospects. You will be delivering project tasks, designs and working with Clients on water and wastewater infrastructure and facilities at various stages in the project life cycle, working within our multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects within agreed timeframes and budget.
We are looking for experienced Civil Engineers to join our Manchester Office to reinforce our existing team and further support our framework with United Utilities.
Here's What You'll Need:
1. A Masters Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or similar.
2. Achieved Chartered Status (CEng) with a recognised Professional Institution.
3. Experience in one or more of the following areas:
1. Water and/or wastewater networks
2. Water and/or wastewater treatment works
3. Hydraulics
4. Mass water conveyance
4. Enthusiasm to solve problems and enjoy working as part of a large multi-national company.
5. Worked within multi-disciplinary teams, co-ordinating and supporting junior staff.
6. Enthusiasm to line manage. A proactive and keenness to take ownership of Client relationships and contribute to the growth of our business.
