We pride ourselves on supporting pupils with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring all learners can access, enjoy, and succeed in their education. To further strengthen our SEND provision, we are seeking three dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants to join our team. The SEN Teaching Assistants will work closely with classroom teachers, the SENCO, and other support staff to provide tailored support for pupils with a variety of needs, including but not limited to: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN) You will help deliver individualised learning plans, provide 1:1 or small-group support, and contribute to creating a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment. Provide 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with SEND. Follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCPs to deliver targeted interventions. Support pupils academic, social, and emotional development. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, therapists, and outside agencies. Adapt classroom activities and resources to meet pupils' needs. Monitor and record pupil progress, sharing observations with the SENCO and class teacher. Support with personal care where required (training provided). Experience supporting children or young people with SEND. Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Experience working within a school setting. Knowledge of specific SEN strategies (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN training). Experience supporting pupils with behaviour or complex needs.
