Therapy Lead - Inpatient Services
Location: LondonSalary: £41,000 - £53,000 (Dependent on Experience)Job Type: Permanent - Full Time
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Therapy Lead to join a dynamic inpatient mental health service. This senior position is ideal for an experienced and qualified clinician looking to step into a leadership role while continuing to provide clinical care.
You will work closely with service leadership to oversee therapy delivery across NHS inpatient wards, ensuring effective team coordination, high-quality interventions, and service development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary therapy team including psychologists, occupational therapists, and assistants.
* Provide clinical supervision and professional development support to team members.
* Manage a reduced clinical caseload and support complex case discussions.
* Coordinate therapy services to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with best practice.
* Support the recruitment, retention, and development of therapy staff.
* Drive evidence-based practice and contribute to service innovation.
* Attend management meetings and contribute to wider service planning.
* Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to safeguarding and regulatory standards.
Candidate Requirements:
* Registered with a professional body (e.g., HCPC, BACP, BABCP, UKCP).
* Leadership experience within a mental health or therapy setting.
* Strong understanding of multidisciplinary therapy approaches in inpatient care.
* Skilled in supervision, staff coordination, and team development.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and risk management skills.
* Commercial awareness and flexibility to adapt to changing service needs.
