What You'll Do
We're Actemium Automation Nottingham - part of the global VINCI Group - and we're on the lookout for a Control Systems Engineer who is passionate about technology, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is ready to make an impact. You’ll play a key role in delivering cutting‑edge control and automation solutions for a wide range of industrial clients. From concept through to commissioning, you’ll be involved every step of the way.
Responsibilities
* Working with senior engineers to develop robust, efficient control systems
* Designing and testing systems based on client specs and industry standards
* Supporting project planning, executing, and commissioning
* Building strong relationships with clients, including on‑site work
Qualifications
* A degree in Instrument & Control engineering (or relevant field) or a strong automation engineering background
* Proficiency in PLC/ DCS programming, and HMI/ SCADA development
* A solid grasp of control system design principles and documentation
* Strong understanding of technical project life cycle.
* Familiarity with industrial software and control systems
* A methodical, structured approach with great time management
* A collaborative mindset and confident working directly with customers.
