Established in 1960, Gilberts is the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of air movement products for the HVAC industry, including grilles, diffusers, louvres, smoke and fire dampers and natural ventilation systems. With a strong reputation for quality, technical expertise and trusted delivery, we are proud to be one of Blackpool’s most respected and successful employers.

The Role
As Managing Director, you will provide strategic leadership across the organisation, working closely with the Board of Directors to shape long-term direction, strengthen performance and ensure Gilberts remains competitive, customer-focused and operationally excellent.
Key areas of responsibility include:
* Setting the company’s vision and strategic priorities
* Leading financial performance, planning and robust controls
* Overseeing operations across manufacturing and functional teams
* Building strong relationships with customers, partners and stakeholders
* Developing and inspiring high‑performing leadership and culture
* Ensuring strong governance, compliance and ethical standards
* Driving continuous improvement and organisational evolution
