Job Title: HGV Class 1 Shunter (CE) Location: Corby Pay Rate: £16.79 per hour Shifts: Week 1&2 = Monday to Friday / Week 3 = Sunday to Thursday Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team and play a vital role in keeping the supply chain moving.We are looking for Shunters in Corby for our client, whois a leading manufacturer of an award winning range of underlays & flooring profiles. What You'll Do: Safely operate Class 1 (CE) vehicles on planned routes between client sites Moving trailers/vehicles on & off bays (double & single deck trailers) Some warehouse duties required on an adhoc basis Lading, unloading, refuelling & vehicle cleaning Local collections & deliveries of raw material and finished goods Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork Maintain your terberg in line with DVSA requirements Perform basic repairs and maintenance Defect reporting Organise the yard Performdaily yard checks reporting any defects to the transport office Ensure timely and accurate deliveries or collections - communicating with all departments in relation to ETA's What You Need: A valid UK HGV Class 1 (CE) Licence At least 2 years Class 1 driving experience Terberg experience A current UK Driver CPC (DCPC) card A valid Digital Tachograph card Up to 6 points accepted on licence (No DD, DR, CD, TT, IN endorsements) A professional attitude andstrong communication skills the ability to prioritise tasks in a timely manner Flexibility when it comes to your working hours to help cover annual leave as and when needed You must be a UK resident to be considered for this opportunity.
