Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a HGV Technician, located in Boroughbridge. The HGV Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the company’s fleet of heavy goods vehicles. Day-to-day tasks will include diagnosing faults, performing routine inspections, and ensuring all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for maintaining service records and ordering necessary parts and supplies.
Qualifications
* Experience in maintenance and repair of heavy goods vehicles
* Proficiency in diagnostic equipment and tools
* Knowledge of safety and compliance standards for HGVs
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in vehicle maintenance are a plus
* A valid HGV driver's license is preferred
