We are recruiting 2 Community Housing Officers at Caerphilly County Borough Council. Working hours: Permanent/Full Time Contract Type: 37 Hours (7.24 Monday – Friday) Location: Ty Penallta / Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Community Housing Team. We pay an attractive salary of £34,314 - £37,035 and offer access to training and development opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly restructured Community Homes Team within Caerphilly Homes. The postholder will work in partnership with colleagues to deliver customer focused housing and estate management service to our tenants and residents within defined community areas, developing strong, trusting relationships, and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. You will manage occupation contracts, providing advice, information, support and assistance responsibilities and obligations, ensuring contractual compliance by customers, and remedying instances of non-compliance whilst supporting the aim of sustaining occupation. For the role, we ask that you have: A Level 4 Housing qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example HNC in Housing. Sound knowledge and understanding of Housing legislation relevant to social housing management. The ability to demonstrate commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, with the ability to treat customers and colleagues with respect and consideration. A Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes to travel throughout the borough to visit customers and communities and attend meetings.
