INTRODUCTION:

Clinical Therapist – Residential Program for Women and Children

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Therapist to support women in recovery from substance use disorders, including pregnant women and mothers with children, in a residential group home setting. This role provides a unique opportunity to walk alongside women on their healing journey, offering therapy, guidance, and encouragement in a safe and supportive environment.

The therapist will provide individual and group counseling, develop personalized treatment plans, and help residents build coping skills that foster long-term recovery and family stability. By approaching each woman with empathy and respect, the therapist will play a vital role in empowering residents to rebuild their lives, strengthen family connections, and create a brighter future for themselves and their children.

We are looking for someone who is not only clinically skilled but also deeply caring—someone who believes in the strength and resilience of every woman and is committed to making a meaningful difference.

Volunteers of America Mid-States (VOA) is a nonprofit organization serving communities across four states. We’re here to support individuals and families through care, compassion, and connection. From providing housing for families, veterans, and low-income seniors, to supporting people with developmental disabilities, offering free HIV testing and education, and creating healing through justice-focused programs — our work touches lives every day.
