Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and learning of children in our Pre-school setting. You will be responsible for managing a group of children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and engagement in various educational activities.
Duties
* Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 2-5 years.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to promote positive relationships.
* Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
* Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods.
* Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills while guiding support staff in their roles.
* Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
Requirements
* Proven experience in childcare or early years education is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
* Ability to drive as the pre-school is based in a rural area.
* A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development is crucial.
