Business Support Administrator
Are you an efficient and supportive administrator looking to join a busy team?
Do you have a background in business administration and are ready for your next challenge?
We are seeking an organized and proactive team player to join our Business Support team. Your role will be crucial in providing administrative support to our expanding business, assisting in coordinating and implementing various business initiatives.
Reporting to the Head Office lead for Business Support and liaising with local staff, you will manage daily operations including office administration and reception duties. You will also support project management activities such as coordinating meetings, booking travel, taking minutes, and managing documentation. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with our accreditations in Quality, Environment, and Health & Safety, and handle aspects of financial management.
This role is ideally part-time (around 15-25 hours per week).
Location:
Roles are available in Leeds, LS1 4BN, and Warrington, WA1 1RX. JBA offers flexible, hybrid working, but the successful candidate will need to spend more time in the office due to the role's nature.
Qualifications and experience
Who we are looking for:
Someone who can efficiently handle administrative tasks, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate accuracy. Being approachable, supportive, proactive, and organized is essential. We value secretarial and administrative skills but will provide training as needed.
Essential attributes include:
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
* Relevant experience in administration or office management
* Strong organizational and planning skills
* Ability to support technical projects, including data management and quality assurance
* Flexibility to adapt to business needs and prioritize tasks
* Reliability, good time management, and organization
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable attributes:
* Current UK driving license
* Experience with Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety systems
* Qualification in Business Administration or related field
