Job Summary
The Blaenau Gwent Community Resource Team are seeking an exceptional Team Lead Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic integrated team. As part of our team, you will have the unique opportunity to help promote independence and empower individuals to achieve their personal goals. You will be an integral part of the wider multi‑disciplinary team comprising of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Health and Well‑Being Support Workers, Social Workers, Medics and Nursing staff. You will work alongside other services such as the Rapid Response Team, Community Hospitals, Acute Hospitals, Home Care and Care Agencies.
Responsibilities
Working in collaboration with the CRT Team Manager and ABUHB’s Occupational Therapy Service Professional Clinical Lead, the post holder will undertake a clinical leadership and operational role. You will lead and influence the ongoing development of OT provision within clinical areas, whilst carrying a varied caseload of people. You must be confident and effective in the delivery of occupation‑focused, high quality interventions.
Working Hours
The CRT service is provided 7 days per week, between the hours of 8 am – 8 pm, 365 days per year. You will be expected to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
Language Requirements
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
