Are you passionate about creating a positive workplace environment and enhancing the overall employee journey? If so, then join us as a People Experience Advisor and help maintain our ambition to ensure our employees feel they are our greatest asset, backed by a real-life experience.
This is not your everyday HR Operations role. The People Experience Advisor will be an integral member of our modern People & Culture team, responsible for providing proactive support to achieve our growth goals and ambitious firm development. It’s a role for someone who is a little bit different.
You will provide expert support and guidance across the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to professional development and employee relations.
Your focus will be on promoting our organizational values, ensuring all staff feel supported, engaged, and recognized. This role is key in driving projects and initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and contribute to the overall success of Slater Heelis.
Who is Slater Heelis?
Slater Heelis is a leading full-service law firm with a rich history of providing exceptional legal services across the UK, but we do things a bit differently.
We have a long-standing excellent reputation. In May 2024, we became part of Lawfront, aligning with their vision to build a high-quality, national business dedicated to its people and retaining top talent to provide the highest level of service to our clients, while preserving our local culture and values.
What do we hope you’ll bring to the role?
You will have experience in delivering human-centered people programs and initiatives—building creative solutions from idea to implementation. You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, demonstrating agility in a scaling, high-growth environment, and have project and change management experience. You possess a good working knowledge of UK employment law, are a natural problem solver, resilient, humble, and highly organized.
This role involves delivering high-quality service and support to Partners, Practice Groups, and employees on various People matters. The position aims to enhance the internal and external reputation of the People team, ensuring standards of excellence and quality are consistently met.
And in return?
Alongside working with talented colleagues in a fast-growing, ambitious business within Lawfront, we offer a range of benefits: a salary of up to £40,000, flexible time off—including 25 days annual leave, 1 day for your birthday, and 8 bank holidays. We support your career development through exposure to diverse challenges and opportunities.
