Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Administrator to join our new Neurodevelopmental Profiling Project (NEST) team. You will work as part of our Administration Team to schedule appointments, manage telephone calls, minute meetings, create letters and maintain up-to-date records. This role supports the implementation of the profiling tool and changes the way young people have access to services in the wider care network.
Responsibilities
* Schedule appointments, manage telephone calls, minute meetings, create letters and maintain up-to-date records.
* Organise and deliver a safe and efficient office system supporting sound patient care and consistent with good clinical governance guidelines.
* Be the first point of call on the telephone, liaising with patients, staff, stakeholders, relatives and other services.
* Support clinicians with their work including typing clinical letters and organising appointments and minuting meetings.
* Maintain records in computerised systems, databases and spreadsheets required by the Team (e.g. referral information, waiting times, group therapy lists).
* Organise and prioritise own routine and non-routine daily workload and contribute to developing, organising and implementing new office procedures and systems (e.g. developing/updating spreadsheets, procedures for processing data and monitoring waiting times).
* Liaise with young people and their families to support the clinical team to deliver person-centred care.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Employment requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check; the Trust will cover the cost of the check.
* Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service may present a valid DBS certificate instead of a new check.
* Applicants requiring current Skilled worker sponsorship to work in the UK are ineligible for this position.
