Senior Pricing Analyst – Data & Advanced Analytics (Personal Lines)
Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days home
This Senior Pricing Analyst role is focused on improving pricing performance through data enrichment and advanced modelling across Retail Motor and Household Insurance.
What you’ll be doing
* Sourcing, testing and quantifying the impact of new (and existing) datasets on pricing outcomes
* Creating predictive features and building models that improve risk differentiation
* Developing reliable pipelines that feed live rating and ELR processes
* Partnering with model owners and pricing stakeholders to translate analysis into usable change
* Supporting supplier / data-provider governance, including contractual and usage considerations
* Building practical measurement frameworks to prove the value of new data inputs
What we’re looking for
* Strong modelling capability and hands‑on experience with Python, R, SAS and/or SQL
* Experience working with third-party / external data and embedding it into analytical workflows
* Numerate background (2:1 or above in a relevant subject)
* Clear communicator, comfortable bridging technical work and business decision‑making
* Organised, delivery‑focused, and curious about modern ML/statistical techniques
