The Opportunity
At Sephora, we are on a mission to create the most inspiring beauty community in the world. As our UK expansion continues, we are looking for a Project Manager to lead the end to end delivery of new store openings and renovation projects, bringing our bold, beautiful spaces to life.
In this exciting role, you will take ownership of multiple construction projects, managing everything from design and budget through to handover. You will collaborate with a network of internal and external partners, ensuring every Sephora store reflects our world class standards of innovation, sustainability, and client experience.
You Will Also Be Responsible For:
1. Leading the end to end construction process for multiple new store openings and refurbishments from initial planning to final handover
2. Managing and coaching Assistant Project Managers to support their professional development and ensure seamless project execution
3. Collaborating closely with the Head of Property and Development, Legal, Business Support, Architects, and Designers to align on project objectives and deliver results
4. Managing external vendors, main contractors, and consultants, sourcing partners who share Sephoras commitment to excellence
5. Developing and managing project budgets, ensuring financial targets and quality standards are achieved
6. Creating detailed project timelines, monitoring progress, and proactively addressing risks to keep projects on track
7. Overseeing on site works to ensure compliance with safety regulations and Sephoras design standards
8. Conducting rigorous quality assurance and ensuring snagging and close out are completed to specification
9. Preparing regular progress reports, documenting milestones, challenges, and financial updates
10. Ensuring all statutory and regulatory certifications are in place prior to opening
11. Supporting Sephoras sustainability goals and aligning with LVMH construction guidelines
12. Travelling regularly to project sites across the portfolio
What You Will Bring:
13. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
14. At least 5 years experience in project management, ideally within luxury retail or high end commercial environments
15. A proven ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast paced, evolving environment
16. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and luxury retail design standards
17. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
18. Proficiency in AutoCAD
19. Knowledge of budget management and risk management principles
20. Membership of a relevant professional body (RICS, MAPM, MCIOB) is advantageous but not essential
