The Opportunity
An established and respected organisation within the testing, certification, and compliance sector is seeking an experienced PPE Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across its Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and related technical services portfolio.
This is a key role focused on expanding market share, developing strategic client relationships, and increasing revenue across both existing and new business streams.
The Role
Reporting into the commercial function, you will be responsible for developing and executing a targeted sales strategy, with a focus on growing demand for PPE testing, certification, and associated services.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and delivering a commercial strategy to drive growth across PPE and technical service lines
Identifying and securing new business opportunities, while re-engaging lapsed clients
Building and executing strategic account plans for key customers
Increasing sales across a portfolio of services including testing, certification, and technical consultancy
Collaborating internally with technical and operational teams to maximise customer value
Managing and developing key client relationships through regular engagement and site visits
Identifying cross-selling opportunities across wider business capabilities
Monitoring market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity to inform strategy
Representing the organisation at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings
Maintaining accurate pipeline, forecasting, and account data within CRM systems
Delivering presentations, meetings, and webinars to stakeholders at all levels
About You
Essential Experience & Skills
Proven track record in developing and implementing successful commercial sales strategies
Strong experience within PPE or a related sector, ideally including testing and certification services
Solid understanding of compliance processes, standards, and regulatory requirements
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-driven
Confident presenting and engaging with stakeholders at all levels
Comfortable with UK and international travel
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams/Zoom)
Full UK driving licence
Desirable
Experience within a technical, testing, or compliance-led environment
Background in delivering or organising industry events
Experience using social media as part of a sales or engagement strategy
