AApprentice (Civil Engineering Technician) Structures Are you interested in designing and building things? Are you passionate about shaping the world around you? Then an Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering could be for you! Civil engineering is a profession that deals with the planning, design, development, and management of engineering projects in a wide variety of disciplines covering both the physical and natural environment. As a Civil Engineer, you will improve and protect the environment in which we live, and it is a career where you can really make a difference. As part of the team, you’ll help with tasks such as supporting design activities, keeping our structures database up to date and assisting with site inspections. This apprenticeship offers a great chance to grow your confidence, develop technical abilities, and contribute to important local projects. What qualification will I gain? You will study towards the Civil Engineering Technician Level 3 standard with a chosen training provider. What will I need? You must either have or expect to achieve 5 GCSE’s grade 9-4/AC in English and Maths or an equivalent qualification, together with good communication and ICT skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
