Job Title: Panel Wirer
Location: Bradford
Salary: £13 - £20 DOE
Our client is seeking experienced Panel Wirers to join their team in a dedicated workshop environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical panel wiring, with the ability to read technical drawings and assemble electrical components accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret schematic drawings, G/A’s, CDR’s, D&P drawings to identify components.
* Strip and crimp cables ranging from 0.75mm to 120mm using hand tools and machinery.
* Create Screen and Ethernet Cables as required.
* Organise and prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
* Produce uniform wiring to required specifications.
* Follow clear instructions, process standards, and operating procedures.
* Identify and report potential issues, suggesting corrective/preventative actions.
* Share knowledge and support colleagues in technical tasks when necessary.
* Ensure productivity, quality, and targets are consistently met.
* Manage Kanban and consumable stock levels efficiently
Required Skills & Competencies:
* Strong electrical background with hands-on panel wiring experience.
* Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, instilling confidence in clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
* Understanding of internal and external customer needs, ensuring high service standards.
* Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
* Logical thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
* Willingness to share knowledge and support team members.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Previous experience as a Panel Wirer or similar role within the electrical field.
* Proficiency in reading and understanding technical schematics and wiring diagrams.
* Experience with cable crimping, wiring, and assembly.
* Familiarity with workshop-based electrical installations
