Due to securing a contract with one of the countries leading transport providers, we have a number of roles we are looking to fill.
We are looking to recruit experienced Welder/Fabricators to work at our Glasgow depot, these will be Full time roles, and as well as continuous work, we can offer an immediate start.
The job will involve;
* Performing MIG and TIG welding and fabrication tasks on various materials including Aluminium
* Delivering high-quality welding and fabrication work in line with instructions from Supervisors and the Production Manager
* Complying with all Health & Safety regulations and internal policies, including proper use of PPE
* Interpreting drawings and taking precise measurements
* Operate hand tools, power tools and machinery, i.e. bandsaws/ metalworker for cutting, grinding, and shaping metal
* Fabricate components from sheet metal according to technical drawings
* Skills:
* – Proficient in welding techniques, particularly MIG welding
* – Strong mechanical knowledge to assemble fabricated parts accurately
* – Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements
* Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
