An ambitious renewable energy developer is looking for a Senior Asset Manager to take ownership of a growing portfolio of utility-scale projects. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to shape and grow an asset management function in a dynamic renewable energy environment, with the chance to make a tangible impact on the energy transition.
What you’ll do:
* Drive asset performance and unlock value across solar, wind, and BESS projects
* Manage and coordinate external teams including O&M providers and contractors
* Oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to maximise returns
* Lead contracts and service agreements, ensuring smooth operations and compliance
* Support new project onboarding, acquisitions, and future divestments
* Mentor and develop junior team members while working across cross-functional teams
What you need:
* 7+ years in asset management of renewable energy assets (solar, wind, BESS)
* Strong technical understanding of renewable energy systems, especially BESS
* Experience with financial modelling, asset performance tools, and contract management
* Leadership skills with a track record of mentoring or managing teams
* Attention to detail, initiative, and excellent communication skills
* Willingness to travel to project sites, including occasional international trips
Nice to have:
* Experience with transmission-connected projects
* Knowledge of ESG reporting or sustainability frameworks
* Exposure to investors, lenders, or capital processes
* Familiarity with ISO 55001 asset management standards
