Overview

Chemical Scientist (KTP Associate) – £39,000 to £41,000 Salary per annum. Fixed term for 36 months with potential for ongoing employment. Location: Clifton and Micromix Plant Health Ltd, Langar, Nottingham. Closing date: 05/10/2025. Job reference: 551698. Location: Clifton Campus. Employment type: Fixed Term Contract. Team: Chemistry and Forensics. School / Directorate: School of Science and Technology.


About The Role

We wish to recruit an energetic, insightful and adaptable graduate who can translate theoretical knowledge into practice by supporting the creation of a new generation of plant feeds by incorporating cutting-edge nanotechnology. The project is technology related, and you will have the opportunity to work alongside both world leading academics at NTU and talented experts at Micromix. The role forms part of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) funded jointly by Innovate UK and Micromix Plant Health Ltd. As a KTP Associate you will work within Micromix to develop and embed knowledge, with research and academic support from NTU.

It includes a £6,000 training budget and 10% of your time dedicated to your own personal development. Read more about the scheme at www.ktp-uk.org.
