Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the acute medical ward, ensuring high standards of patient care.
2. Lead and mentor a team of nursing staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
3. Implement and monitor clinical protocols and procedures to enhance patient outcomes.
4. Drive service improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of innovative practices within the ward.
5. Manage resources effectively, including staffing, equipment, and supplies.
Key Requirements:
1. Significant clinical experience in acute medical care is essential.
2. Desirable: Experience in people management, leadership, and managing change.
3. Essential: Enthusiasm for developing new initiatives within the clinical area.
