Are you a creative and technically minded leader with a passion for furniture design? We're looking for an experienced Product Design & Development Manager to join our team and lead the creation of innovative, market-leading products from concept through to completion.
About the Role:
As Product Design & Development Manager, you will oversee the full product development lifecycle—managing a team of design engineers, coordinating with suppliers, and working cross-functionally to ensure the delivery of market leading products from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of product designers and development engineers.
* Manage multiple design projects from concept to production.
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement in product design and materials.
* Liaise with manufacturing, procurement, sales, and marketing to align product output with business goals.
* Ensure all products meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.
* Maintain up-to-date project reporting and milestone tracking.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a similar role within the furniture or related manufacturing industry.
* Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and production timelines.
* Confident leader with experience managing and developing a high-performing design team.
* Excellent project management, organisation, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in CAD software and an appreciation of both aesthetic and functional design.
