Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team
* Assign and inspect cleaning tasks to ensure they are completed to high standards
* Train new housekeeping staff and provide ongoing guidance and support
* Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
* Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas
* Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping
* Collaborate with maintenance and front desk teams to address facility maintenance needs
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in housekeeping operations
* Schedule and organize staff shifts to meet operational needs
* Uphold a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property
Requirements and Skills
* Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role
* Strong leadership and organizational abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment
* Ability to train and motivate a diverse team
* Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest issues professionally
* Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
* Integrity and a customer-focused mindset
* High school diploma or equivalent
