The Scope



This role will own and grow BT’s Cisco SASE portfolio, combining networking and security into one seamless experience. This is a pivotal role where you’ll influence product strategy, drive innovation, and help BT stay ahead in a rapidly evolving market.




What you’ll be doing



Manage the in-life product lifecycle for BT’s Cisco SDWAN managed services offering.



Launch Cisco cybersecurity products into BT’s Security portfolio and manage them in-life.



Develop and deliver a combined SASE propositions as part of the wider BT Business portfolio.



Define and execute product roadmaps, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.



Secure development funding, track capex, and deliver business case approvals.



Collaborate with Cisco and internal teams to bring new features to market quickly.



Drive customer adoption and maximise cross-sell and upsell opportunities.



Act as the evangelist for Cisco SASE within BT and across the stakeholder community.




Experience needed to be successful in the role:



Product Lifecycle Management – Proven experience launching and managing managed service products end-to-end, using agile methodologies.



Market & Technical Knowledge – Strong understanding of SDWAN, SSE, and SASE markets (Cisco experience preferred), plus experience with cloud-based services.



Strategic & Commercial Acumen – Ability to define product vision, develop business cases, pricing strategies, and negotiate vendor contracts.



Customer & Stakeholder Focus – Skilled at translating customer needs into product decisions and influencing senior stakeholders.



Go-to-Market Expertise – Experience creating sales enablement plans and driving adoption to maximise growth.



Operational & Delivery Insight – Knowledge of service delivery processes to ensure quick, cost-effective implementation and margin optimisation.
