Sous Chef Permanent | £25,126 PA | Full Time | Southend We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to support the delivery of high quality catering services. The successful candidate will assist in managing kitchen operations and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning, preparing, and serving diverse menus Support supervision and development of kitchen staff Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations Manage stock control and assist with ordering supplies Deputise for the Head Chef when required Requirements: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in large scale catering (60-80 covers) Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen equipment Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure DBS check is required for this role Level 1 and Level 2 Working Hours: Rolling shift pattern: Early shift (7am – 3pm) and Mid shift (10am – 6pm) Working every other weekend Salary: £25,126 per annum Ready to take the next step in your culinary career?
