Robert Half is partnering with a UK-based innovation company to recruit a Junior IT Support Engineer for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.
Role:
1. Provide 1st line technical support to staff (in-person, email, or remote)
2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
3. Set up and configure laptops, peripherals, and user accounts for new employees
4. Maintain asset registers and inventory of IT equipment
5. Assist in managing IT ticketing system and ensuring timely resolution
6. Support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and collaboration tools
7. Document technical procedures and FAQs for internal use
8. Assist with basic administration of IT systems and security protocols
9. Escalate more complex issues to senior IT staff or external providers as needed
Profile:
10. Strong interest in IT and technology with a desire to learn and grow
11. 1 year experience in a similar role (internship, freelance, part-time, or full-time)
12. Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems
13. Good understanding of Microsoft 365 applications
14. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
15. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset
16. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
Organisation:
17. Initial 6-month fixed-term
18. London-based, 5 days per week (on-site)
19. £25,000 - £27,500 per annum, dependent on experience
