We’re looking for a Data Analyst to:
Work collaboratively with stakeholders within Group Internal Audit (GIA) to deliver and operate data analytics and automation solutions to support audit processes and risk assessments.
Meet our internal standards for the quality, execution, and documentation of end products and reporting, taking account of relevant compliance requirements.
GIA is an independent function that supports in achieving its strategic, operational, financial and compliance objectives. We do this by assessing key processes, governance, risk management, and the control environment within all business divisions and Group Functions (GF) functions globally. Our GIA innovation team supports GIA’s mission and vision by empowering all staff to embrace innovative automation and data analytics tools and techniques. Experience working as a data analyst / scientist within the financial services industry.
Analytics and reporting skills include experience in Python, PL/SQL or T-SQL, Alteryx and Power BI.
Applying advanced data analytics / science techniques to solve business problems.
Project management skills, and comfortable with managing multiple, concurrent projects within an Agile methodology framework, including familiarity with common Agile concepts such sprints, ceremonies, and product backlog prioritization.
Interest and prior experience in building innovative data-driven solutions.
Ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders.
