Overview

Fixed term: 12 months | 30hrs per week

Join our supportive, multidisciplinary Sheffield Eating Disorders Assessment and Treatment Team (SEDATT), part of CAMHS. We specialise in the assessment and evidence-based treatment of children and young people with eating disorders, often presenting with complex comorbidities.


Responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality, specialist Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (CBP) to individuals and groups across a variety of settings.
* Conduct specialist assessments and evidence-based interventions for young people with eating disorders and complex comorbidities such as depression and OCD.
* Provide consultation and advice to colleagues and non-professional carers, working autonomously within guidelines and service policies.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to care planning, risk management, and ongoing case discussions.
* Supervise and support CAMHS clinicians and CYP-IAPT trainees in CBP.
* Use research skills to support audits, service development, and quality improvement projects within the service.


Qualifications

* Doctoral-level training in Clinical Psychology, or be a qualified RMN, Social Worker, Art Therapist, or Family Therapist
* CBT accreditation with the BABCP, with a focus on work with children and young people
* Registration with the HCPC (or other relevant professional body)
* Experience delivering specialist CBT assessments and therapeutic interventions to young people

Please note that Sheffield Children's uplift pay to meet the Real Living Wage, which is £12.60 per hour.
