What Are We Looking For?
Liftec Express is seeking a Modernisation Sales Executive to join our team. The main goal of this role is to price, quote, and sell modernisation projects to meet an agreed financial target within Manchester and the North of the UK.
This role could suit an existing Lift Engineer interested in transitioning into sales or a sales candidate with experience in the lift industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Gain the necessary internal safety accreditation to enable site surveys for both modernisation and full replacements to be carried out safely with minimal risk.
2. Secure modernisation opportunities through existing relationships with clients and lift consultants, as well as on-portfolio clients via the local branch and key accounts; convert these opportunities into orders and process them through internal booking to handover to operations.
3. Identify and develop new customers through networking and a proactive customer visit plan.
4. Manage your sales activity and strategy using CRM to achieve set targets, including a fair annual financial goal.
5. Obtain EOR202N certification for safe access into lift shafts.
Candidate Requirements
1. Technical lift experience.
2. Proven sales track record in modernisation, major repairs, or new equipment.
3. Proactive, charismatic, and good listener with a 'go-getting' attitude.
