The role of Landscape Technicianwill include:
1. Maintaining estates in accordance with grounds maintenance contract specifications, applying basic horticultural practices
2. Providing accurate and timely information on progress and advice and ensure accurate daily work records are completed
3. Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations, escalating complaints as appropriate
4. Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and continue to be suitable for required tasks
5. Using equipment and materials in a safe manner, as instructed and in accordance with risk assessment and method statements and the manufacturer’s guidance
6. Carrying out all hazardous tasks such as spraying, in accordance with supplier guidelines and in a safe manner, ensuring relevant records are maintained to comply with health and safety and legal requirements
7. To assist with additional tasks such as bulk waste clearances and garden clearances
Skills and experiences:
8. Literacy and numeracy equivalent to grade C GCSE English and Maths
9. Pesticide Application Certificate PA1 – PA6 (or equivalent) or willing to work towards
10. Recent experience of undertaking a similar role
11. Some practical experience of operating machinery
12. Good understanding of written and spoken English
13. Good communication skills
14. This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

25. £26,670per annum (rising to £28,074per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
