Responsibilities:
1. Lead Raw Material Category Management for all EMEA and APAC manufacturing sites, providing country-specific market intelligence to mitigate supply risk and inform business decisions.
2. Partner with Elanco Procurement Global Category Leaders to drive productivity through strategic sourcing and leverage deep category, business, and industry knowledge for direct MRP categories.
3. Act as a business partner, change agent, and coach for manufacturing site leaders and stakeholders, ensuring full understanding of business needs and successful implementation of Procurement solutions.
4. Lead complex local and global projects through the strategic sourcing process, from strategy development and supplier selection to contract negotiation and ongoing relationship management with critical stakeholders (, Quality, Supply Chain).
5. Ensure timely planning, scheduling, and execution of all category management, sourcing, and contracting events, including running prioritization meetings and presenting strategic recommendations to all levels of leadership.

6. Strategic Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated bold leadership to drive organizational change, with the ability to network and influence across all levels and regions.
7. Sourcing & Negotiation Expertise: Strong understanding of supply value chains, associated cost drivers, proven negotiation skills, and knowledge of commercial law. Experience with Direct material sourcing highly preferred
8. Analytical & Problem-Solving Acumen: Demonstrated business acumen, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in data analysis and MS Excel.
9. Collaboration & Relationship Management: Proven interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and conflict resolution, with experience in managing third-party relationships (oversight, selection, negotiation, problem resolution).
10. Independent Work & Technical Proficiency: Ability to work independently, set direction, manage commitments, leverage networks for market knowledge, and proficiency in SAP and Ariba tools.
11. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. French, German and/or Chinese languages preferred.
