Overview

Invicta Health have a Salaried GP opportunity available at St Peters Surgery, with up to 10 sessions available. We can offer both part time and full time positions. It is an exciting time to join St Peters Surgery as we plan to move the team into a new state of the art health and wellbeing hub for Thanet, based in Broadstairs. Invicta Health has seven GP practices and is a community interest company devoted to supporting and improving primary care in the Kent area.


Responsibilities

* Provide a wide range of primary care based general medical services to patients in a non-judgemental, respectful manner, using a patient-centred, fully team-based approach.
* Engage with local and national initiatives and strategies to improve and coordinate better and more sustainable healthcare provision.
* Work with staff within the surgeries and administrative staff to ensure patients receive the highest possible standards of care.
* Collaborate with other health and social care providers to ensure a safe and integrated service.
* Coordinate and direct the delivery of care by the clinical team on a day-to-day basis and provide clinical support to other staff to achieve high standards of care and meet QOF and Enhanced Services targets.
* Prescribe according to national and local evidence-based guidelines.
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of consultations using the EMIS clinical systems.


Qualifications

* Current General Practitioner on the General Medical Council register; MRCGP (or equivalent) and completion of Training (CCT) preferred.
* Not subject to suspension under relevant regulations and currently on a performers list unless exempted.
* Vocational Training certificate or equivalent experience.
* Experience as a General Practitioner/Locum Practitioner with up-to-date understanding of modern primary care in urgent care and community settings.
* Ability to manage common medical, surgical, and psychiatric emergencies and to make appropriate referrals.

* UK professional registration required.
* Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of the role.

* Pay: £13,202 to £13,846.41 per session.
