Your Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Stockport Family Children social care senior management team working together to make a real difference to the lives of children and families.
The Service Lead Residential and Support Services has the strategic lead for the development and delivery of Stockport’s children’s homes, supported accommodation, and support services, such as edge of care and family time services.
The postholder will provide effective leadership of the workforce and operations, ensuring a high standard of quality care and support that meets children and family’s needs, working closely with locality teams and wider professionals.
The postholder will also provide ongoing leadership and development for the service, including the opening of new registered provisions and ensuring Ofsted compliance to deliver against the council’s sufficiency plan.
About You
We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, and skilled service leader to join our leadership team to support our residential and support services in delivering outstanding care for children.
You will have management and leadership experience in residential children’s and support settings, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services for children. You will be supported to lead and develop our Stockport Families First (edge of Care) Service and Family Time team offers.
