Operations Manager – The Converters Group
Location: Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland (office & site-based)
Hours: Full-time
The Converters Group is one of Scotland's fastest-growing home improvement companies, delivering high-quality conservatory roof conversions, garage conversions, extensions, garden rooms, and more. We're now looking for a highly organised Operations Manager to oversee our installations and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
The Role
You'll take ownership of the operational side of our projects, leading installation teams, coordinating schedules, and making sure every job runs smoothly from start to finish. This is a hands-on management role where you'll work closely with both office staff and tradespeople to keep customers happy and the business efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations across multiple product divisions (conservatory roofs, garage conversions, extensions, garden rooms, etc.)
* Plan and coordinate installation schedules and labour resources
* Manage and support site teams, ensuring quality workmanship and safe working practices
* Monitor project costs, budgets, and timelines, resolving issues quickly
* Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure smooth handovers and communication with clients
* Continuously improve processes to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Contracts Manager, or similar role in construction, home improvements, or related industry
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and projects
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
* Good understanding of building regulations, H&S, and compliance
* Commercially aware, with the ability to control costs and maximise efficiency
* Full UK driving licence
