Agent/Senior Agent
An excellent opportunity exists for a Civil Engineering Agent/Senior Agent with proven delivery experience and expertise in the management of heavy civils packages which include reinforced concrete bridges, structural steel bridges and placing of precast and cast insitu elements on rail/highway projects, for a tier one contractor.
Your responsibilities will include -
Oversee, guide, and support the project team as needed.
Focus on managing resources efficiently to keep costs down.
Use and encourage the use of BIM technologies in line with the project’s BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
Maintain strong professional relationships with stakeholder/alliance partners/Designers and Subcontractors.
Interrogate and monitor the cost control system tied to the project schedule, supporting accurate quantity forecasting.
Lead by example in health, safety, and environmental practices by following company policies and conducting regular personal safety checks.
Make sure realistic schedules—short-term, medium-term, and for the overall contract—are created, reviewed regularly, and kept up to date.
Confirm that method statements and risk assessments are created, communicated, and reviewed as needed.
Ensure that all records related to measurements and payments are completed promptly and accurately.
Use weekly internal progress meetings to share updates across the team.
Requirement for this opportunity include –
Previous continuous experience in similar delivery management post for a tier one contractor on large infrastructure projects
Extensive knowledge and experience delivering numerous major packages simultaneously
Have practical knowledge, understanding and application of civil engineering construction methods
A Civil Engineering qualification and having progressed through the civil engineering route. Preferable chartered or similar
Excellent communication skills as gained on numerous JV infrastructures projects.
Strong collaboration skills.
