At Croydon College Group our staff are passionate and committed to achieve the very best outcomes for our students. We believe it is through our people that an excellent student experience will be delivered, and this will have a positive impact within our local community. Our visions and values ensure that we put our students first and value our staff as our greatest asset.
We are seeking a Designated Teacher to join our Safeguarding and Wellbeing team, who will play a crucial role in ensuring our care experienced students thrive and reach their full potential. This role is instrumental in supporting some of our most vulnerable learners to access, engage with and succeed in their education, while working closely with internal teams and external agencies.
Our Safeguarding and Wellbeing team is a highly collaborative and supportive area of the college, dedicated to ensuring students are safe, well and supported in achieving excellent outcomes. Staff are empowered to lead, innovate and build strong partnerships, and benefit from a team culture that values inclusivity, ambition and professional development.
You will lead on transitions, ensure strong Personal Education Plan (PEP) processes, build meaningful partnerships with care charities and universities, and deliver training and enrichment opportunities for both students and staff. You’ll be a key link between students, curriculum teams, social workers, and wider college support services.
Apart from our great location, our wonderful staff and positive culture, we also offer a range of other staff benefits, including generous annual leave and defined benefit pension schemes. We also value staff development and have 7 days a year planned for staff development, including elements of team development, socialisation and staff wellbeing.
If you are as passionate about making a difference, we look forward to receiving your application and joining our great college group.
