Calendar, Co-Curricular and Trips Coordinator

Salary: £27,261 (actual)

Permanent • Full-time during term time 40 hours a week plus 10 days during the school holidays (flexible for the right candidate)

Start date: ASAP

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our busy Administration team as Calendar, Trips and Co-Curricular Coordinator.

In this varied role, you will be responsible for the administration, coordination and communication of school activities outside of timetabled lessons, including the school calendar, trips, visits, and co-curricular programmes. You will work closely with the Assistant Head, Co-Curricular and Enrichment and senior leaders to ensure events and activities are accurately planned, compliant with safeguarding and risk management requirements, and professionally communicated to staff, students, and parents.

You will be confident in building positive relationships with staff, students, and external providers, and demonstrate a flexible, can-do approach to supporting the wider needs of the School.


Responsibilities

* Coordinate the school calendar, trips, visits, and co-curricular programmes.
* Administer communication of events to staff, students, and parents.
* Work with the Assistant Head, Co-Curricular and Enrichment and senior leaders to ensure safeguarding and risk management compliance.
* Support event planning, logistics, and provider liaison.
* Maintain accurate records and bring strong IT and organisational skills to the role.


Requirements

* Excellent IT and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong relationship-building skills with staff, students, and external providers.
* Flexible, proactive approach to supporting the wider needs of the School.

Sir William Perkins’s School is a high-performing, academically selective, independent school for approximately 600 students aged 11–18 years. The Head is both a member of HMC and GSA. The School is located on an attractive 12-acre site situated on the outskirts of Chertsey, a two-minute walk from the railway station and very near the junction of the M3 and M25.
