Are you an Accounts Senior looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to work within a leading firm of chartered accountants in West Malling?
TPF Recruitment is working with a fantastic chartered accountancy practice based in West Malling to recruit an Accounts Senior to join their talented team. As an Accounts Senior, you will play a pivotal role in preparing limited company, partnership and sole trader accounts, Corporation tax computations and returns, Vat and management accounts, personal and self-assessment returns. You'll work with a variety of software including IRIS, Xero, Sage, QB, DEXT, Auto-entry, and other programs as needed.
You will be responsible for:
* Managing your own portfolio of clients
* Preparation of financial statements
* Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns
* Preparation of Personal Tax Returns
* Preparation of bookkeeping and VAT returns
* Assisting junior staff members with their work where required
* Dealing with client queries and advisory projects
* Assisting Partners as necessary, with existing and new client queries
Requirements
* Suitable applicants for this Senior Accountant role will be any of AAT, ACA, ACCA qualified or qualified by experience, with a career background in accountancy practice, working within a small or medium firm background and/or, Top 50/ Mid or Top Tier firm experience.
* You will be likely operating around Accounts Senior level, or similar, delivering accounts and wider ranging accountancy practice services to a client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited company clients, across a wide spectrum of industries and turnover levels. Requirements
You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
