We are currently looking for a Product Stewardship & Regulatory Specialist to join us at our facility in Wellingborough. The purpose of this role is to act as the local specialist for the U-POL organization as part of the Axalta EMEA-PSRC team. To ensure compliance with existing chemical legislation in close cooperation with local technical and marketing teams and global PSRC teams. To ensure that regulatory information is stored and administered in an appropriate fashion, with full version control and traceability. Key responsibilities: Support PSRC hazard communication, data governance and customer & ops support teams for Axalta Refinish business segment with focus on U-POL-manufactured products. Review incoming supplier safety data sheets of raw materials and resale products. Register/notify Axalta products with national authorities as required Communicate regionally and globally within Axalta on upcoming regulatory data changes and related impact on Refinish products. Key requirements: Degree or Technical qualification and work experience in chemical industry or similar industries, e.g. pharma Basic understanding of Hazard Communication (e.g. safety data sheets/labels). Basic understanding of chemical regulations (e.g. REACh/GHS/CLP). Fluent English in speaking and writing. Additional languages are an asset. Proficient in the use of standard Microsoft Office products, numerate, analytical and IT literate capable to work with database systems. Fast skill adaptation concerning regulatory subjects and proven ownership mindset.
