Responsibilities
* Take ownership of the pastry section, ensuring consistency, precision, and high standards in every dish
* Prepare and present a range of desserts, baked goods, and sweet components to specification
* Work alongside the Head Pastry Chef and kitchen leadership to develop seasonal offerings and plated desserts
* Maintain mise en place and ensure readiness for service at all times
* Uphold strict food hygiene and safety standards across all pastry operations
* Support junior pastry staff with training, mentoring, and guidance
* Communicate effectively with front-of-house and wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Pastry CDP or strong Demi Chef de Partie within a quality-focused kitchen
* Passion for pastry and a creative, detail-driven approach to your craft
* Excellent knowledge of baking, patisserie, and dessert presentation techniques
* Strong work ethic, professionalism, and a genuine love for hospitality
* Good understanding of food safety, allergen management, and cleanliness protocols
* Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure in a high-volume environment
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends
* Right to work in the UK
