Full time / Permanent / Night Shift (45‑hour contract)
Are you an experienced PPM Drainage Engineer with a background in Engineering, Drainage or a similar industry? Would you describe yourself as a hard‑working individual who likes to get stuck in?
Attega Group is currently partnering with our client in recruiting a PPM Drainage Engineer to join the team within the Leigh area.
This role will involve PPM works and mechanical clearance of soil stacks, floats lines and small‑bore waste pipes following detailed drainage plans.
We offer a basic salary of up to £40,000 P/A and various company benefits, including pension contribution and 20 days holidays plus bank holidays.
Responsibilities
* Extensive descale works for above and below ground drainage, including small bore and stack pipework internally, carried out using HPWJ, electromechanical milling machine and hand coring machines.
* Identify defects, design issues, pipe conditions and missed connections within the system.
* Assist with Jet Vac tanker works, including line cleaning, root cutting and confined space entry works.
* Responsive call‑outs for commercial and industrial clients may be required on occasions.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience with PPM works.
* Experience with internal works.
* Knowledge of Picote machine.
* Flexible to frequent staying away and night work (once or twice per month – one week at a time).
* Preferably drainage experience.
* Experience driving large vehicles.
