SEN Teacher – ARP Provision | Barnet | September 2026 Start A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join the ARP provision within a welcoming primary school in Barnet on a permanent basis from September 2026. The ARP supports a small group of 8 pupils in Years 3–6 with Autism, with some children also presenting with ADHD and associated challenging behaviours. Location: Barnet, London Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Permanent Setting: ARP within Mainstream Primary School The successful SEN Teacher will: Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, and associated behavioural needs Create a positive, safe, and structured learning environment Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals Use effective behaviour management strategies to support pupil progress Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues To be considered for this SEN Teacher role, you must have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly Autism and ADHD Strong understanding of behaviour management and inclusive teaching strategies A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach Excellent communication and teamwork skills This SEN Teacher role is ideal for a committed professional who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a genuine impact within a specialist provision.
