Joining us now is exciting. The VP, Sales role is crucial for identifying, closing, and growing new clients, especially within our Private Equity segment globally.
The role focuses on uncovering new revenue opportunities in Private Equity—hunting leads, engaging clients with tailored outreach, and expanding market share. It involves managing the entire sales cycle, suited for someone with a proven track record in new business development.
While an individual contributor, this role collaborates closely with our CCO, President, and other leaders to maximize our offerings and provide mentorship to the commercial team.
The key responsibilities include:
1. Executing proSapient’s global sales strategy to grow revenue in Private Equity.
2. Leading business development efforts within the Private Equity sector.
3. Partnering on strategic initiatives to enhance our presence in Private Equity.
4. Managing the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure.
5. Staying updated on market trends to identify new opportunities.
6. Collaborating on expanding our client network and driving sales growth.
7. Building strong client relationships for long-term profitability.
8. Negotiating contracts with decision-makers, maximizing cross-selling and upselling.
9. Leading contract negotiations with support from legal and operational teams.
10. Mentoring and leading the Commercial team, fostering talent and best practices.
Requirements
Key experience for this role includes:
* At least five years in a client-facing role, with success in lead hunting, converting, and closing deals, preferably in SaaS.
* Experience working with Private Equity firms, especially in EMEA (international experience a plus).
* Exposure to Expert Networks or similar services is beneficial.
* Flexibility to work remotely up to 20 days per year.
* Hybrid work model: 3 days in-office (Mon, Tues, Thurs) and 2 days remote.
